and as I try to shop for my dad, I am once again reminded that, inexplicably, you cannot buy a kindle book as a gift on Amazon Canada. It is absurd. How do you fuck up this badly? Looking at this faq, it suggest that there are only 8 countries where you can buy kindle books for others.

i have encountered this exact problem with my dad. the only thing he wants, every year, are books for his kindle. absolutely ridiculous
