Is Richard Linklater's stuff worth checking out? I remember liking Waking Life when I saw it but have been probably-unfairly-and-irrationally annoyed by the concept of Boyhood that I've written him off

I mean, the Before trilogy is wonderful, and I really enjoy School of Rock, A Scanner Darkly, and Apollo 10 1/2. I admit I am Dazed and Confused agnostic, but I have heard really good things about Everybody Wants Some!! Also, have you seen Boyhood or were you just so put off by the concept that you never sought it out? If not, I would recommend giving it a shot. Don't know if I am fully convinced it rises above it's concept, but it is interesting.
EDIT: Another good one: Bernie!
Oops, I thought I had replied to this already. I haven't seen Boyhood, just put off by the concept.
I did, however, just watch A Scanner Darkly and it was a bunch of fun with some great performances. Grudge over and I'll check out some of these other ones
