I went outside to bring in the bins and on my way in I went to check on the probably-sunflowers growing beside my deck. They're looking good but not yet flowering. As I was going back inside I was staring back over at the sunflowers again. There was a gust of wind and they moved a bit and so did a tall plant on the other side of my neighbours fence. The neighbour plant moved a different amount (probably because the sunflowers are beefy and it is thin). Anyway, it moved in an innocuous but eerie way like a good horror movie would linger on and then not pay off for another 30 minutes. God I'm excited for October
