The Neutral Zone is an "entrance fee" arcade (You pay a fee to get in but everything inside is set to free play) that's a fun place to try if you're in the area. It's inside of the mall, which is extremely dead (they've set up Pickleball courts inside, for crying out loud, they have no idea what to do with this space clearly) but the Neutral Zone has been here for a good few years now and I don't expect it to go anywhere soon. The owner is a pretty cool guy who I've spoken to a bit every time I've taken my brother here, who really cares a lot about arcade gaming, preservation and maintenance.

Some notable cabinets they have here: The pictured PlayChoice, a Simpsons, Turtles in Time, full list https://theneutralzonestl.weebly.com/

It does get pretty cramped and warm inside despite all the fans they've got set up. It usually gets quite a crowd throughout the day, especially on Saturdays which is the only day I can really go.

Arcades as the default gaming experience were already dying out when I was a kid (I'm 33), so my experience is more like begging my mom to play the pizza restaurant's Pac-man and it was the one and only thing they had while we waited for the food. Honestly, you can probably get a lot more gaming for twenty bucks than going here nowadays, but what you're really paying for is the old school arcade experience. Especially if your mom never gave you enough money to brute force through The Simpsons. That's probably twenty bucks by itself, lol.
