Today is the day of the wilderness boss rework but I will be posting about Secrets of the North instead because I am perpetually two weeks behind

Damn this quest is neat. I did it on an account that sided with the Carnillians, while my friend who sided with the Hazeel cult was watching. Obviously the narratives end up merging, but the flow between both states of the Hazeel Cult quest flowed together pretty well. Your character's interplay between Khazard (who straight up hates you) and Hazeel (who mostly sees you as a tool) is done pretty well.

The main puzzle of the quest is REALLY good. Actually solving the puzzles is pretty fun, but I accidentally skipped a clue (because they're just hidden in boxes in the environment and it's far from impossible to accidentally overlook one) and got frustrated because of a lack of necessary information. I wish I could think of a good way to resolve that issue without resorting to unnaturally highlighting investigable environment objects if you still need the thing inside of them. Maybe the majharrats could have pointed it out of you were missing something and spoke to them? idk.

The combat: Evelot is kind of a non-issue, I'm not sure it really needed to be there for being as easy as it was. The fight with the assassin is a little awkward, it doesn't really make sense that he'll run into melee range just to shoot arrows at you (but it would make his gimmick of only being attackable in his smoke bomb clouds dramatically more obnoxious if he didn't), but I really enjoyed the Phantom Muspah fight. This is the grindable fight that you can do for drops after the quest, and it's pretty engaging with mechanics that feel great to counter. Good work on making Smite actually useable on a boss that uses prayer for once, heh.
