Social media in particular, actually.
I feel like a lot of online interaction spaces are tailored to overstimulate you in a moral sense. Where everything you post has to be Praxis somehow or you're a bad person. Where your choice in video games has to mean something about you other than "I like this video game".
And yes, I think right wingers are chasing what they think is praxis, "Owning the libs" ,even if it's in their own heads with every post. It's exhausting to live in that constant state of needing to be saying something with every post, especially when someone contacts you unbidden with some kind of moral outrage over some random shit you're doing. I'm basically non-existent on Tumblr because people started calling me out as a sexual deviant for being a masc-presenting furry before even knowing my pronouns are he/him and I'm a cis dude.
...IDK, I'm just some random furry who pretends to be an anime bear boy on Twitch. I don't have any answers for you. I'm probably playing some retro games and making raunchy jokes with at least two of my partners in a voice chat with me at any given time.
If you're looking to me or other streamers and content creators as a way to form your opinions for you, please stop,
