THE NOTETAKER
The Notetaker is a being that no one truly understands. Is it a God? Is it higher than God? Was it here before the idea of notetaking was invented? Will it eventually die? Are the Gods aware of it? Why is it here? Why is it doing this?
One thing is for certain, it likes to write down everything it witnesses, and always seems to be there for big events. Whatever planet it's on, it will catalogue everything it can see, and will take on a form pertaining to that planet.
It's left behind notebooks are seen as holy relics, and historians pour over them to visit the past in great detail. On rare occasions, notebooks from other planets will be dropped on other planets, and they must be found immediately and catalogued before The Notetaker notices and takes it away.
What is this being? And Gods, what is it planning?
