I only get a small number of comments from bigots compared to many other channels, but even more infrequently I get comments like this, where you can tell the person would actually very much like to be nice and not a hater, but clearly feels trapped by the ideology they pledged themselves to. It's somebody who could be rescued, who doesn't have to be a casualty, and it's sad that it probably won't happen. Anyway, I remain proud to be a detrimental person.

I think about the home I had to escape from, and its full of people like this. So many people who would be good if not for the media and leadership they've pledged themselves to follow. Any attempt at discussion just seems to be an attack on their personal character to them, and it sucks because they would be the strongest allies otherwise.
