I saw my trans doctor today. She got out the tape measure to measure my breasts!1 So I guess I finally got to show them to someone! Anyway, Tanner stage 2. She thinks they're growing well and I'm certainly very pleased with them. And with everything, really. HRT has been wonderful.
She's leaving my estrogen dose where we've had it all along (8mg once per week, subcutaneous) since it seems to be basically fine. She wants to try reducing my spironolactone from 100mg in the morning and 50mg evening to 50mg morning and evening. She notes that everyone is different, it's possible I could end up feeling this cause undesirable effects and if so just go back to the higher dose. My guess is that according to the conventional wisdom my estrogen level is high enough to strongly suppress testosterone production anyway so it's not likely to change much. But, we'll see.
Next visit in four months.

I remember her carefully making all these measurements of my non-breasts on the first visit, it was weirdly affirming to have this doctor seriously measuring them. Of course the plan was to have some interesting new measurements to compare with those someday! And indeed! They've grown quite noticeably!
