Seeing a chost about a reoccurring pattern in Alexander Brandon's music reminded me of what I jokingly call the sample because of how distinct it is despite only being used in a relatively small amount of songs (that I know of)
If you know from which sound library it originates or of any other songs that used it please do reply

2000: Colin McRae Rally 2.0
Jonathan Colling - Selection 1

2003: R-Type Final
Yuki Iwai - Stage F-A (The Bydo...)

Found it! This sample comes from Zero-G's Chemical Beats library. It takes many, many forms just in the pre-built loops alone so it's a little hard to point to any specific version as being "the sample". They're all very clearly cut from the same cloth though.

Suddenly remembered that some time last year oh my god almost two years ago I made a high-ish resolution recreation of a Gamecube ad based on the really low res version on the right because a fellow forum member wanted to print it

Download the full res version here: https://scrungus.club/downloads/ngc_ad.png (7016x9921, 15 MB) if you want to print it for yourself
Thanks to @Awberry for help in deciphering pixels and @JillCrungus for hosting

Last chance to see this one and download the file to print it yourself because Nintendo subreddit mods deleted the link almost instantly back when I posted it on the basis of this recreation being a "fan art" and X-the-everything-app is unsearchable

Thinking about starting a WIP thread for a similar recreation of a low-ish res highly compressed texture from a game with the goal of having it in a printable resolution later today. Maybe that'll motivate me to actually finish the thing as I've been putting it off for more than a year now lmao

Pacino is so much better as an actor than De Niro it's not even funny, the latter is so monotone in his performances and is often the weakest part of the movies he's in (e.g. Goodfellas where basically everyone else gives an incredible performance with Joe Pesci being a standout) at least past the 1980, meanwhile Pacino has some absolute bangers under his belt and an actual range, even if people clown on him for getting the Dunkaccino bag

Drop everything and watch Dog Day Afternoon blind tonight, directed by one of the best to ever do it Sidney Lumet, starring Al Pacino with the best performance of his career and incredible John Cazale among others
