As far as I can tell, cohost's search functions have very limited functionality, on purpose. Now that the site's been running a while, this creates a rather curious conundrum, because there's a lot of good content that's rather difficult to surface without some extra information, often of a more social sort (e.g. "I think I remember that such-and-such shared that one").
As a minimum, though, you can always manually enter the tag you're looking for into the 'tagged' URL. If you do so, be careful about capitalization - cohost sticks with the first observe use of a character string, so "vr" is now forever a lower-case tag and "VR" won't turn up anything at all. But that doesn't solve your multi-tag search problem, which (so far as I'm aware) is not currently possible.
The way I've been using tags so far is just searching for and bookmarking the ones that might interest me, and muffling the tags I don't want to see (I only recently learned about muffling tho), and for passive discovery I think that's good. The problem is mainly just with active discovery because of that one tag limitation in searching, one that I'm hoping will be resolved with a future update or something
