i personally went into detail on how most of the generative AI out there is unethical and built on stolen images/data, ex. how photos from medical records made their way into Stable Diffusion, and let them know in no uncertain terms that the general consensus in creative communities is "fuck this, we hate this, stop stealing from us." these dingdongs have real bad tech bro brainworms and they do not know what is going on in the communities they're supposedly serving, but they DO know that they have repeatedly been Yelled At for failing vibe checks, so i leaned pretty hard on just telling them like... dude this will be As Bad Or Maybe Worse Than the firestorm that the mere mention of crypto brought last year lol
OH and i also mentioned that the copyright issues are gonna be a tangle for a while, legally, because even if they don't care about artists they might care about avoiding annoying legal issues lol
I wrote that I felt threatened and would prefer if AI as a concept just ceased to exist.
I'm not good at these since the creative stuff I do do isn't really under the purview of AI, so I can't provide personal anecdotes outside the main topics to mention. But, I did what I could without just being vehemently scolding to the point they'd just conveniently ignore the submission.
