False Positive is a horror anthology webcomic by "Big Mike" Walton, telling a series of mostly-disconnected stories that range from the fantastical to the science-fictional. Of these stories, "Sentinel" is the story I found the most unsettling. Appropriately, the comic self-describes as having a Dreadfulness rating of 4/4.

Sadly, Mike Walton passed away in early 2022, so there will never be a Volume Two of False Positive, and the series can no longer be considered "ongoing."
