the colors are soooo....idk what it is about them but they're great, almost iridescent imo
WOW, this is amazing! The colors are wonderful, but what caught my eye were the stars! how'd you draw them?? They're so organic and smooth yet crisp in contrast to the thatching (I think thats the name of the technique) you did with the color. Are they inverted stencils by chance?
Hi! I'm not exactly sure what inverted stencils are but this was done digitally in clip studio paint. If I remember correctly, it was all done with just the default pencil brush. I found that lots and lots of soft, overlapping marks work well for fake dry media. The white stars are on a different layer than the rest of the piece, so that's why they don't really blend with the rainbow. Hopefully that answers your question!
