Just watched an episode of Cheers in which Captain Janeway beat the dad from Alf in an election
As someone who watched ALF when it was on the air, I remain conflicted over the degree to which Max Wright evidently loathed working on the show. As a bit, "comedy actor with top billing in career-defining performance nevertheless resents puppet co-star" is a genuinely funny situation, but at the same time, knowing that an artist participating in a comedic work is having a bad time and is unhappy casts a pall over the work as a whole.
