the laser one is an actual good idea... like we have laser cutters and engravers already, turn down the power massively and it seems very useful
I've been waiting for the laser one since 2014. Supposedly, laser stintering patents expired years ago, which made 3D printers better, but I don't think it was doable in 2D.
There was also a company trying to do this back in 2016 in Europe I think? But I haven't checked up on them since.
