oh, nice Yerka! family friend is a friend of his (though i personally never met him) and we got a lot of albums and reproductions of his work when i was a kid
I discovered Yerka's paintings ages ago via his strange collaboration with Harlan Ellison on Mind Fields, which was available for sale in my local Borders bookstore (RIP). Even just flipping through it in the store, a fair few of the pieces were immediately seared into my mind ("Eruption" and "Europe" remain my favorites). I've not come across any other bound collections of his art, despite having been on the lookout for years. Where were the albums you got a hold of published? Maybe I need to cast my net farther afield...
it was long ago and i was a kid so i dont know where we got them from-i havent seen it in long time so i cant real tell. there might even be chance ive been misremebering mind fields as it real has been a long, long time. seems that nova agraart has published two albums with his works in recent years (one is his works from 1972-2001, one is exhibition catalogue) though these are out of stock, so it would need to be bought second hand.
