There’s some promo photos of Mark Hamill posing in his yellow jacket outfit from the end of A New Hope sans-yellow-jacket and, while I love Yellow Jacket Luke the most out of all his looks1, I have to admit two things:
- This is Mark Hamill at his absolute twinkyest
- Pretty cute!
The Empire Strikes Back is good but poor Luke just gets stuck in beige beige beige for the rest of his life. More Luke with a closet, please. Er, so to speak. Hm.

I firmly believe the quality of a Star Wars is directly propotional to the amount of jackets worn in that Star Wars, minus any robes. Capes are jackets, tunics and ponchos can break either way. Luke’s Yellow Jacket is the best jacket in all of Star Wars, and possible human history, so therefore it must also be his best look. This is called science.
