whats your favorite gundam in the "wow cool robot" way?
I think 0080 does an amazing job of showing “this is what Gundam is About” in so few episodes
I think that 0083, for all its faults, does still hold my heart in its hands and force me to whisper “wow cool robot.” It has so many machines that are given the time and the hype to really feel like incredible pieces of destruction. The whole premise of “the gundam’s older brother is out there and it’s evil and it has a huge nuke” is so solid. And along the way you have: the Feddy Zaku. The dynamite GM Custom. The enormous Val-Walo! 🦀The sequel to White Base, the Albion! The Gebera Tetra! The Neue Ziel!! There’s so many and yet the show doesn’t feel over-stuffed (like say, SEED) or like there’s cool robots that barely get screen time (like say, Endless Waltz)
