probably because of the gundam screenshot bot on this here webiste, I have had a number of Two Mix songs appear unbidden in my mind over the last few weeks— you know, rythym emotion, just (wild beat) communication, and of course, white reflection. I don't know any of the actual Japanese lyrics, you know, just the sound of the general shape of the syllables, but there it is, playing in my head, again and again, a 🎶ba-ba-ee-ba du-doo-be-doo never-eeeeeen-ding stoooo-reeeeeee 🎺🎺🎺 🎶
so here is my white (person) reflection on Gundam Wing:
Maganac Corps : Gundam Wing :: Tom Bombadil : Lord of the Rings
Like Bombadil, these guys just show up, help out our heroes — to an extent — with no origin and no real conclusion. Their giant robots do not clearly derive either from Project Meteor or from the ur-Leo/Tallgese that all of the other giant robots in the series originate. They're just there, detached from whatever else is going on in the history of giant robots, except for the fact that they're all in on helping Quatre.
