A silly little poem that my head came up with while revisiting This Is Just To Say by William Carlos Williams and [in Just-] by E. E. Cummings. Perhaps a little tame for something inspired by Cummings, but I did give extra thought to the overall pacing, form, and rhythm I don't usually write poetry, less you count song lyrics. So might be a little rough. Anyway, hope you enjoy!
Sometimes
I wish
I were
A little bunny
Like them
That way
They'd know
How much
I care
About them
We'd play together
Eat together
Rest together
I could better
Comfort them
I guess
Its good
I'm not
A rabbit
Like them
Because
Then who
Would fill
The food bowl?
