wish people would stop writing gendery/crossdressing/trans/whatever stories set in the modern day where someone goes to Claire's to get their ears pierced 😱. idk if claire's is a thing outside American malls but they uhh do not exactly have the best track record for piercings. i feel like the people writing those are several years out of date and don't even know that most cities have some kind of local piercing/tat place that would probably do a much better job
