Blackletter survived way longer in Germany than it did everywhere else (oh look it's right there at the bottom even), so their handwriting still has heavy influence from it.
honestly this doesn't even look that bad except for the capital S, which I don't understand at all
okay the lowercase s ligatures are pretty bad too, and what's with lowercase k. I like the rest though, lowercase e especially
