but I only found out the other day that he picked that name because it belonged to a legendary Gamer
my dad took him to the local cornershop to play an arcade game. this was a single-player game, mind you, but for whatever reason my brother was in charge of pressing one button, and another two older boys were operating the stick and the other action button, respectively. apparently this experience was so awe-inspiring that I simply had to be named after one of these superstars.
I cannot believe I had never heard this story before. this is hilarious
