a friend made a simple joke on twitter about us living in a simulation and The Quote Tweet Brigade is taking it at face value in order to yell at him. they're like, actually mad at him too. accusing him of magical thinking, being worse than a flat earther, etc. getting real personal about the insults. even if he wasn't joking--who cares! just ignore him!
i'm starting to root for Elon to keep unplugging random servers. hopefully he can take it down for good soon
just absolutely scrutinizing everything everyone says and reading negative things into it and getting very mad at some random person who isn't even famous or influential or anything because a single post of theirs got picked up and spread around as a new thing to be mad about
