i was just thinking and the way everyone i know says it doesn't seem to follow much from the spelling. it's like "kai-oh-tee"

but i can see how "coy-oh-tee" would probably make more sense
which seems like it should be "gyah-ruh-dose" or something but i say "gear-uh-dose"

For me it is the latter one. Coy-Yo-Tea. I pronounce Coy the same way I pronounce the adjective.
