i was just thinking and the way everyone i know says it doesn't seem to follow much from the spelling. it's like "kai-oh-tee"

but i can see how "coy-oh-tee" would probably make more sense
except maybe with an added "y" sound

For me it is the latter one. Coy-Yo-Tea. I pronounce Coy the same way I pronounce the adjective.
rioplatense spanish consonants seem fun <3. as someone from california who's mostly used to hearing mexican spanish i feel like i'd have a real hard time understanding it at first lol
"Kyo-tee," personally. I'm not sure where I picked that up from.
