would probably spell it as कोहोस्ट personally — the english aspirated "t" sound tracks more closely to ट than त imo, & the terminal letter is also clipped by default so you don't need the ् to indicate that. good चोस्ट!

Are you using it on mobile? I've noticed the feature to adjust the initial offset doesn't seem to work (at least not on my phone), but it does on PC, buuuuut sadly my dumb computer has trouble with some fonts and character sets that my phone doesn't, so it ends up looking like this:
