something weird i always focus on like. a lot in text+speech is "not saying no", or negative things

i tend to be Very Avoiding of Conflict (just a personality thing) so i dont like making people upset or sad, and using negative terms can do that, even when ur not trying. like if someone asks "i found a new strat o: does it save time?" u can say "no it's slower" or u can say "looking at it i think it's a bit slower than current strats" (also realizing i dont like talking in definitives very much either while writing this)
the 2nd one feels a lot more like. nice and they can be like "oh ok! unfortunate but they definitely put thought into it c:" and be like thanku c: and leave, but the first has a lot more capability to make them feel like "oh i just got shut down and now i feel bad for saying anything :c" and just leave, and That Is Sad. so i always try to use as few negative words like "no, never, not, don't" etc as possible. sometimes english works in a way where i need to but thats that and an entire different thing jdfklgdhgfsd

also like i said earlier i dont like talking in definitives either, which i noticed Just Now wow. e.g. even with that same person u can say "current strats are faster" or "i think it's not quite as fast as current strats unfortunately" and again it starts changing to be more welcoming. the second one at least imo feels nicer to be told than the first and also less shutting-down. not having definitives leaves it open to interpretation even if it is 100% just not as good or incorrect, and that Feels Better i think

just stuff i think about sometimes weee
