Historically, Columbus Day is the "Italian-American Patriotism" holiday. But it doesn't seem to be associated with drinking or the stereotype of drinking.

Honestly I don't think people even associate it with Italians anymore. But it's generally Italian-American clubs that are the ones pushing back against replacing Columbus Day with Indigenous Peoples Day.
