my sister ended up remapping it in the emulator and it feels so much more natural than the default A and Left on the D pad

..... Is that why I never really got into that game as a kid? I remember loving the idea of it, but being utterly shit at it to the point that I never played it very much. A dumb control scheme probably would have contributed to that, I think
Probably also didn't help that I had no clue what the fuck I was doing when it came to its gimmicks.
