looked at a can of ginger beer and found "neutral cloud" in the ingredients. did not remember to look it up until today. apparently this describes a class of additives specifically intended to make drinks look cloudier, and thus more interesting

Maybe they're recycling the stuff filtered out of other drinks to make them clear? Genius!
The only thing necessary for Sephiroths to triumph is for neutral clouds to hide in drink cans
More seriously: oh huh, I wonder if that's only used in ginger beer? I've never seen it in anything I've bought and I don't recall seeing it in the 90s, back when I actually drank root beer and cream soda and stuff (but not ginger beer).
