also me, autistic: if you really need to get sticker residue off something and you don't have goo gone handy, you can use a little bit of any cooking oil on a towel. goo gone just has the added benefit of being orange-scented
i figured that was probably the case lol but i do like the orange. i was trying to look into eucalyptus oil for cleaning after seeing an australian retro tech youtuber use it but all the stuff i can buy online seems to be annoying essential oil brands that make a bunch of dubious health claims
fucking essential oil bullshit lmao. yeah fwiw I have used olive oil and canola oil to get sticker residue off of plastic things; it works pretty well!
