i think it's vaguely interesting because it hints at a kinship system with what is sometimes called self-reciprocal kinship, which is pretty common in a lot of languages but not generally how English works. Basically, in self-reciprocal kinship, you use the same word to talk about both your parent and your child, or your grandparent and your grandchild, etc.
