I miss the old kinda Popcap games
Now under EA it just ain't the same
First person shooters and some mobile apps
With in-game purchases and that kinda crap
I used to Peggle all the day and night
I'd even Zuma if the vibe was right
Bejeweled's old school and we all know
Now it's got millions of mobile clones
It's actively tragic to me that the Major Powers of the Popcap pantheon are just sitting there on Steam with a big old "not compatible with macOS 10.15 Catalina or above" sticker on them. Many wonderful indies also lie beyond that compatibility chasm, and that's an unavoidable shame because many of those developers can't afford to go back and recompile (if they're in the biz anymore at all), but it can't possibly be expensive enough to even register on EA's balance sheet to pull some folks aside and have them usher those titanically important games across the chasm and into the present day.
