what if the notes came out from the center kinda like maimai or something, and you controlled a little paddle with the crank? i dunno if i'd personally be able to keep track of all the different horizontal lines and which directions they correspond to
oh that's probably easier to keep track of. good idea. i'll try making another mockup that works like that
