there was this article not long ago about a startup that failed because its pizza robot couldn't stop the cheese from sliding off
and that seemed very weird until we dug in and realized they were trying to cook pizza IN A MOVING VEHICLE
and the reason they were doing that was so they wouldn't have to pay rent on a storefront
which was the actual innovation they cared about - avoiding rent. the robot was just window dressing.
