I'm really glad I got my 4B for turning into an emulation station before all the proud announcements of cops on staff and monitoring software and stuff.

It seems I got mine just before they went off the deep end. I really just wanted an emulation "Console" I could hook a good controller into on my big TV.

I’ve wanted “pi but with a decent mobile GPU” for years, but admittedly A) I’m weird, and B) not sure if “4X GPU perf increase” actually means “decent”, or if 4 x Basically Nothing is still Basically Nothing

yeah, jeff geerling (the video host) has been one of the guys trying to get desktop GPUs to work on the pi and the answer is "still doesn't work, but it's maybe getting closer"

also pretty much all of the other SBCs have arm's mali mobile GPUs instead of the broadcom videocore, if that's helpful
