there's apparently shit in the Orion Nebula from the latest images from JWST that sounds wild to me, a layperson when it comes to space science (exemplified by the fact that i called it 'space science'). i am now reading not-yet-peer-reviewed papers (well mostly the abstract which is the part i understand) to know if this is actually weird or if it's just tuesday for astronomers.
i mean also i'm sure they'll actually say once like, peer review happens.
