the really annoying thing about this diagram is that it seems to describe something very unpleasantly real—there's some grand convergence of the corporate high-technology sector onto a whole complex of different ideas that kinda boil down to the same grand vision of everyone (with enough money) permanently wired into a synthetic version of reality. there's synthetic money (crypto), synthetic objects (VR "metaverse" stuff), synthetic minds to generate synthetic content (AI)...and if you want a more immersive experience, you pay on the exponentially sliding scale. a vision for the future! ~Chara
