don't know much about how this works so it wouldn't surprise me if this ends up being impossible but i really hope at least some keyboard manufacturers refuse to add the fucking copilot key or at least offer keyboard models without it. i will never fucking buy a keyboard with that shit on it and i don't care if that means i'm using pre-2024 keyboards for the rest of my life
tbh i think the key will be widely mocked and that only Microsoft and their OEM partners will actually add it to keyboards.
a lot of third party mechanical keyboards already have a switch to go between windows+linux versus mac, and i doubt they'd add the key. this will go the way of the defunct "office" key microsoft tried to make a thing
btw CTRL + SHIFT + ALT + WIN is equivalent to pressing the office key, which is why that weird LinkedIn shortcut exists. It was meant to be just OFFICE + L
