you ever think about how our entire society was built by people whose minds were kept absolutely sizzling in a bath of chemicals from chain smoking cigarettes, an iv drip of coffee, and cocaine and amphetamines for the over achievers. and the fact that i cant keep up is because I have a brain problem???

I feel this - i am in the midst of a burnout and there isn't any rest coming until May.

Every once in awhile I think about the fact that they still allow lead to be used in a lot of airplane fuel. Mostly smaller craft, but still. STILL

oh WAY more than that. When they made the EPA they sent out a bunch of photographers to just kinda get a state of things, and it's wild to look back on. Dumps were literally just. Dumped stuff. Barrels of mystery chemicals, asbestos-and-lead-paint-filled construction waste- sounds good for that little valley, right over there. right upstream of the creek, yeah. Junkyards leaking oil and coolant- straight next to the river, of course. Big pile of mine waste? 2 blocks from town square, complements the fountain. Frankly it is a miracle we didn't wipe the country out somewhere around 1968.
