I've seen people say that before, Lily Alexandre's first video that went big, "Millions of Dead Genders: A MOGAI Retrospective" for example, which is a video I saw when I was still relatively early into finding a more helpful community outside of tumblr, and for me it was really interesting to see that look back at what had been around me when I was first beginning transition and hadn't been able yet to find any other sorts of things from other people.
The tumblr enbies were a very specific group but at the time I couldn't really find anything else, until 4+ years into transition reading Mia Violet's book and seeing her twitter there and following her on the hellsite and immediately finding more assigned-male people than I'd found in the previous years and discovering an entirely different sort of trans discussion social norms. It felt like the weirdest thing to have such total difference between the two sites starting in T and ending in R as tumblr and twitter.
