kh by far, hs is just "some stuff happenned" its completely comprehensible
having read a few thousand pages i think i disagree that homestuck is completely comprehensible. like with the inventory systems and troll relationship types and dancestors. i can't comprehend that shit
well thats the point that stuff doesn't matter its just the stuff that happens.
yeah but i wasn't talking about the plot. i was talking about the lore. it's still lore even if it doesn't matter to the plot
nah the lore is "stuff happenned" :3
its all just tone and vibes
alright you're just fundamentally not saying anything relevant to my original question. the same argument that you can just go on vibes applies exactly as well to kingdom hearts or any other work of media as it does for homestuck. that's just entirely giving up on answering the question in any meaningful way. gonna stop responding to this thread now cuz i think we're just talking past each other
i think kingdom hearts if only because the lore is spread across like 16 games or whatever
Homestuck.
Kingdom Hearts has two different easy-to-follow stories. One when you play the game casually, and the other when you either play the game to 100% or when you just start reading from resources online.
Homestuck has so many different layers and nuances to get in at even a basic level, it feels like you had homework you needed to do before even starting. It's charming enough to where I'm a fan, but I have not even read 25% of the whole comic, much less even touched the supplementary materials. I guess I'm moreso a fan of the Homestuck Fandom than I am of the original comic.
