I don’t know if this applies to you but filing revised returns is a pain in the ass so risking unsolicited advice: if you sold RSUs or similar, and used the “auto import” feature in a tax program, the cost basis may be completely wrong, resulting in massively overpaying. For E*Trade at least there’s a “supplemental” pdf you can download with the correct numbers.
