One of my students told me she couldn’t focus on her work because she was a werewolf and then went “I’m transforming! ARRRGH!”
In third grade, my friend at the time confided in me that his whole family "was cursed and would regularly turn into velociraptors" and he'd color his fingernails with pencil and then when I'd point it out, he'd hide his hands and be like "Oh no, I'm transforming!"
One time at his house, he told me that they replaced what looked like an ordinary six (or maybe it was 8?) pack of juice with "potions to keep them from changing" so that they could stay human at school or work.
He came clean about all of it in 4th grade in an "I can't believe you thought that was all real 😂" way, and then moved out of state later.
