i wonder if anyone's made a self-powering keyboard where the compression of springs somehow generates power. it would generate only an extremely small amount of power, but on the other hand a keyboard doesn't need that much
Gas powered mechanical keyboard: partially pressing a key opens a valve releasing gas into a transparent ignition chamber, fully pressing hits a piezoelectric striker and ignites the gas, illuminating the pressed key for a while.
