It's worth repeating that fascism does not adhere to any single one aesthetic: rather it hinges on people turning aesthetic into a moral judgement. Fascists will seek converts by appealing to the aesthetic biases of the group they're trying to draw from.
Fascists want you, the fascism-disliker, to believe that there are aesthetics immune to fascist infiltration. Maybe then they can even sell you on their I Swear It's Not Fascism Bro I'm Just Concerned About Keeping Our Community Safe
i think a good modern example of an aesthetic that isn't obviously tied to fascism and yet is a rich source of recruits to weird qanon/conspiracy/transphobia stuff is woo-woo new age crystal healing wellness stuff. there were people like that involved in the january 6 stuff
