That spoiled yet adorable bird always yells out when I enter the kitchen, yet pecks when I draw too near? It causes me such confusion!
apparently the "hitting my hand with her beak" thing is not pecking me. it's actually something called "beaking" that they do to make sure prospective perches are safe
