It's that time of the year where I race to complete all the really good indie games I should have played over the course of the last 12 months, instead of just ending up back on my Civ VI bullshit all the time. Gotta put the work in, so that I can have an educated opinion in various work-related GOTY discussions.
Anyway, I was very late to the party on Immortality, but it is a wonderful, evocative game. Thoroughly recommended. In particular, the acting of the main cast members is remarkable. This game doesn't work if they don't turn in pitch-perfect performances, and they absolutely nail it.
It's no Trombone Champ, but then nothing else is.
